Results of a working trip to Lithuania and Poland

Representatives of the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment conducted a working trip to Lithuania and Poland: a number of important meetings were held with diasporas and organizations. The main goals of the trip for us were a recruiting campaign and establishing connections with European organizations, diplomats and politicians.

It was also important for us to tell the Belarusians of Europe about the reforms, changes and upcoming tasks of our unit.

The photo was taken during a meeting with the Belarusian diaspora in Vilnius.

Meetings with Belarusian diasporas

The main topic of discussion was the legalization of former and current fighters of the unit. The problem is still acute and requires the participation of society and legislative development. No less important was the issue of organizing medical rehabilitation, integration into society and support for former fighters.

We also discussed mechanisms for helping the families of the fallen soldiers of the Kalinovsky Regiment. A charity fundraiser was launched to provide New Year's gifts for the children of fallen soldiers. At the time of publication of this material, the fundraising campaign was almost completely closed.

Unfortunately, the democratic forces of Belarus in exile have not paid due attention to resolving these issues so far. Therefore, it is now extremely important to unite efforts and create an effective mechanism for supporting Belarusian volunteers.

Representatives of the Regiment visited the Chapel in Vilnius, where the remains of Kastus Kalinowski and other figures of the uprising of 1863-1864 rest.

Participation in the First All-Polish Congress

Representatives of the Kalinoŭski Regiment also took part in the First All-Polish Congress "Defense System of Poland. Safe Poland and Citizens." This event was attended by Polish politicians, representatives of the military-industrial complex, public figures, as well as the current Minister of Defense of Poland, Wladyslaw Kasiniak-Kamysh. The presence of the regiment aroused great interest among Polish military personnel and journalists. Cooperation with European politicians and military will continue and expand.
